In the past 3 years, the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Barnstaple Fair Carnivals have been by far the most successful in recent years and that is thanks to the wonderful team of volunteers on the committee, behind the scenes and of course those who work tirelessly throughout the day (and night) to keep everyone safe!

Come rain or shine, Barnstaple Fair Carnival is going to bring family fun, entertainment and community spirit to Barnstaple and want to be bigger and better every single year.  But we cannot do it without you!  So come and be part of it, and make Barnstaple Fair Carnival your Carnival in 2019.

Carnival Queen, Princess & Mini Royalty Application Rules

  1. The closing date for all applications is Friday 24th May 2019
  2. Participants must reside within the Postal District of Barnstaple
  3. Applications must be in writing or completed online on our website: www.barnstaplecarnival.org.uk
  4. Entries for Carnival Queen should be aged 13 – 18 years at time of event

    Entries for Carnival Princess should be aged 8 – 12 years at time of event

    Entries for Carnival Mini Royalty should be aged 5 – 7 years at time of event

    I / We agree to allow my / our daughter / son, as named above, to take part in Barnstaple Carnival Queen / Princess / Mini Royalty competition and adhere to the judge’s decision being final.

    I/We further agree to accompany him/her and let him/her attend Barnstaple Carnival functions including travelling to represent Barnstaple Carnival at other events throughout the year.

    I/We also agree to let his/her photograph, name and age be published to promote Barnstaple Carnival website and any other websites as considered appropriate by the Carnival Committee.

    Carnival Committee will supply dresses and tiaras and a sash for the Queen.
